Where Kudobox gives more

  1. Video counted like text

A video testimonial is a testimonial. The free plan holds 15 of either, and the first paid plan has no limit on either.

  2. Your own name on it from the first paid plan

Starter removes the Kudobox credit and adds your logo, colour and domain. On Testimonial.to, branding removal starts at Ultimate.

  3. One subscription for several projects

Pro covers 5 projects, each with its own wall and link, and another costs $10 a month — not the price of a whole plan again.

  4. Permission that is enforced, not only recorded

What your customer ticked decides what your widget, your wall and the API may serve, on every request.

  5. Read for risk before you publish

A promised result, a named third party, a regulated claim, a personal detail — flagged on arrival, on every plan.

Where Testimonial.to is ahead

Every comparison here has this list, and it is never empty.

  • Testimonial.to has been running for years and has a public record of customers. Kudobox is newer.
  • Testimonial.to lists an MCP integration alongside its API, and an Ultimate+ plan with unlimited seats. Kudobox's largest plan on sale has 5 seats, with more at $5 a month each.
  • Testimonial.to's entry paid plan is $4 a month cheaper, if you only need text and at most two videos.

Moving from Testimonial.to

One file, nothing retyped, and nothing public until you approve it.

  1. Export from Testimonial.to

Open the space, then Options in the right sidebar, then Export to CSV.

  2. Upload the CSV here

On the import page, choose Testimonial.to as the source and upload the file. A column is read by its name — a name, the words, a rating, a company, a date — and you see which column was read as what, and the first row, before anything is saved.

  3. Approve them, and put them on your page

They wait in Pending, so nothing is public until you say so. Each keeps its source beside it and its original date. For anything sensitive, send that customer a fresh link as well, so their permission is on the record here too.
