Kudobox

For real estate agents

One sale each, and every one of them named a price

Your clients sold a house. Their testimonial is going to mention what it went for, how fast, and over asking — and every one of those is a number that reads as a promise to the next seller.

Why it is hard here specifically

Property testimonials are almost all outcome claims. Publishing them as written is normal in the trade and is exactly what an advertising regulator, or a disappointed seller, would point at later.

What Kudobox does about it

  1. The figure is flagged before it is public

A sentence naming a price, a percentage over asking, or a number of days is marked with the reason and waits for you.

  2. A disclaimer under every wall

Write the line once — the one about past results — and it appears beneath your testimonials wherever they are embedded.

  3. The address comes out, the sentence stays

A testimonial that names the street can have that span removed, with the rest standing exactly as written and the reader told something was taken out.

The questions worth asking

Copy these into your form and change them to sound like you. Each one is written to produce a sentence you could actually publish — which is the whole difference between a testimonial and a compliment.

  1. What were you most worried about when you decided to sell?
  2. What did we do that you were not expecting?
  3. How did the process feel at the difficult moments?
  4. What would you tell somebody choosing an agent?
  5. Is there anything you would want us to do differently?

The limit, said plainly

Kudobox does not know your state's real estate advertising rule and does not claim to make you compliant with it. It marks the sentence; the judgement is yours.
