For coaches
A result that is somebody's private life
Your best outcome belongs to a client whose transformation is the reason they would rather not be named on a website. Anonymity is allowed — and it has to be honest about what it is.

Why it is hard here specifically
Coaching testimonials tend towards the miraculous, and a page of miracles reads as untrue even when every word of it is true. The specific and modest ones convert better and survive scrutiny.
What Kudobox does about it
First name, or no name
A client may give their words without their surname or their photograph. The testimonial says who it is from at the level they agreed to, and no more.
Ask for the specific, not the superlative
“What can you do now that you could not in January?” gets an answer worth reading. “How was your experience?” gets “amazing”.
A promise is flagged before you publish it
A sentence that reads as a guaranteed outcome for the next person is marked with the reason, whether or not you are regulated.
The questions worth asking
Copy these into your form and change them to sound like you. Each one is written to produce a sentence you could actually publish — which is the whole difference between a testimonial and a compliment.
- Where were you when we started?
- What can you do now that you could not do then?
- What surprised you about the process?
- What was hard about it?
- Who would this not be right for?
- What would you say to somebody deciding whether to start?
Where to put them
The layouts that suit this trade. All twenty-three are on every plan, on as many pages as you like.
And what you already have
You are probably not starting empty. These are the places this trade usually finds its first ones.
The limit, said plainly
If your coaching touches health, money or the law, the rules of those trades may reach you even though you are not licensed in them. Kudobox flags the sentence; it does not know your jurisdiction.
