Scripts are sandboxed. Embed the wall as a frame.

What to do instead

Google Sites runs embedded code inside a sandboxed frame that will not load our script the way a page does.
Use Insert → Embed → By URL with your hosted wall's address instead.
The wall carries your mark and your words, so it does not read as a page from somewhere else.

Choosing the layout

The tag above draws a wall. Adding ?template= to the src changes it to any of the 23 — a marquee, a rating badge, a single pull quote — without touching your page again.
